Yes, I am both frustrated and epileptic, among other things.
I was an English teacher for seven years before I left my post due to my frustrating epilepsy and the resulting transportation difficulties I faced. (Having a disease that renders me unconscious makes maintaining a valid driver's license pretty tough...)
I live in the middle of nowhere (rural Minnesota) with my sweet, patient, hunky dork of a husband, my daughter, a revolving cast of foster children, more projects than I know what to do with, a bunch of cats, and, miraculously, an internet connection.
My work has appeared on Scary Mommy, Motherwell, The Mighty, and Her View From Home.
I like words (reading and writing), organization, Chuck Taylors, dancing, inspiration, trees, chandeliers, possibility and dreams, creativity, making things beautiful, glitter, seeing potential, original thought, snow, the color green, and cheese.
